Under-Represented Minorities

Additionally, minorities and the elderly in the U.S. are not fully represented in a proportionate manner in cancer clinical trials testing - often by wide margins. This presents a true limitation in clinical trial results, and also represents a substantive loss to the minority populations.

CancerPACT is a gathering of the like-minded to bring attention and positive change to the current circumstance. It is an alliance of individuals, non-profit organizations, medical institutions, pharmaceutical partners and other private sector entities to a common purpose. The plan is to affect all communities, one community at a time.

This includes using traditional and non-traditional public health methods to educate target populations, establish resources and generally reduce barriers to cancer clinical trials. It also includes educating and presenting a serious call-to-action to the medical community.
